LVPY is pleased to announce Zach Jones as the Head Coach of our AYHL team at the U9 (2011 Birth Year) level for the 2020/21 season.

Zach Jones has spent the last 12 years coaching in the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Youth Organization at the U18AA, U16AA, U14AA, U10AAA, and U8 levels. Zach also previously ran the goaltending curriculum for the organization and helped many players move on to Junior, Prep, and College Hockey. His teams have won numerous tournaments, league titles, and participated in Atlantic District playoff runs. The past few seasons he has been primarily focused on developing our U8 program and getting ready the 2011 birth year for the Phantoms inclusion back into the AYHL. From 2017 through 2019 Coach Jones was an Assistant Coach, Goaltending Coach, and Recruiting Director for the Temple Owls ACHA Division 1 Team. In 2017 his starting goaltender was named 2nd Team All ECHA and 1st Team All ECHA again in 2018. Temple also led the ECHA in team save percentage with .908%. In both seasons on the Owls bench their teams made the ECHA playoffs and Coach Jones was part of their first ever victory against the US Naval Academy. Zach also helps run the Phantoms Youth Alumni Game each holiday season.
