Girls Hockey in the Valley Day December 04, 2021

We are excited to announce that the Phantoms Youth Hockey Organization will be having Girls Hockey in the Valley this December 4 with all four of our girls’ team playing on the East rink of the Steel Ice Center.

Starting at 8:30am with our U10 A Girls playing our rivals from the south, the Lady Patriots. This is expected to be a fun and competitive match as the Phantoms look to improve on their second place showing in MAWHA last season.

Immediately following, the U14 A team will be playing the New Jersey Colonials at 10am. Both teams are in the 2021/22 MAWHA Playoff hunt and this match could be a sneak peek at the Championship Game.

The U12 A team will take the ice against the Lady Islanders at 4:45pm. The last time these two teams met on Long Island, the game ended in a 2-3 loss for the Phantoms. Our Girls will look to use our home ice advantage to put them over the top, this time.

Rounding out the day, our U19 AA Ladies battle it out with Snider Hockey at 6:30pm. Our Ladies will be looking to get back into Championship form as they take on a strong Snider team.

The Steel Pub, one of our biggest supporters, will be open for food and beverages. Our U19 AA ladies will be selling “Pub Cards” as a fundraiser, so please make sure you purchase your gift cards, at the door, to help support our programs.

Other sponsors will be there, including Kents Hill Sports camp. Many of our girls attended this camp last summer and had a blast!
