After the completion of my Bantam year, I joined the newly formed Mercer Chiefs Midget AA team. When I transferred to the University of Maryland for continued education after junior college, I joined Maryland’s club Ice Hockey Team and completed my college career in 1999 upon graduation with a BA in Criminal Justice.
Coaching Philosophy-
I believe that every player willing to practice hard, play hard and allow themselves to be coached can turn into an amazing athlete. Skating and fundamental skills are the essential tools for a coachable ice hockey player. Practices will be high tempo/fast paced consisting of skating (conditioning) ; edgework ; and competitive drills. My goal is to create better boys and girls inside and outside the ice arena while preparing them for higher levels of play.
