The Mite Major Team just completed a clean sweep in Hershey over the October 25th – 27th weekend in the Hershey Halloween Howl Mite AA Division. The Major Team beat teams from MD, VA, FL, and NY to win the top division of the tournament which featured over 80 teams. The Major Team is comprised of 2011 players and a few January born 2012s. They averaged over 12 goals a game and let up 3 a game for the tournament finishing 5 – 0. In the final they defeated the PAL Jr. Islanders 6 -4 to bring home the gold. The boys have started the season on fire opening up with 19 wins against only 2 losses playing some of the top 2011 teams up and down the east coast. They have defeated teams from prestigious organizations in Buffalo, New Jersey, and other areas. They will face Canadian opponents in tournaments later in the season in Upstate New York. The Mite Majors are looking forward to continuing to grow as a team, become better hockey players, and build on their already solid friendships.
